Simply put, I’m a twentysomething trying to figure out what the heck life is all about.
But in more words… I’m a Grand Rapids native who is experiencing life in Cincinnati. I prefer to write in cursive and my heart feels whole when my hands are dirty and a canvas is no longer white. I find joy in long drives and I need the windows to be down, even if it’s below freezing. I love a good cup of coffee and underlining quotes while reading books. I’m a geek about playing minesweeper and writing code. If I look distracted, I’m probably thinking about potatoes. I love Jesus, but I don’t always love the Church (mostly because the Church doesn’t always love me). Like Koji said in his song Most of Everything, “I cut off most my hair because I was getting scared I was hiding something; it was like seeing my face for the first time.”
Love the name of your blog!
Thanks, Sarah! It’s inspired by “Looking for Alaska” by John Green, but I’m actually planning to change it soon, when I revamp my blog. :)
